Sweet Satisfaction
Two days after receiving her new MacBook I ask Josie, "So, how is everything with your new computer?"

Josie replies enthusiastically, "I love it. It's great!"

Cautiously I mention, "Now, you know, being that it's Intel-based, we could dual-boot Windows on it."

To which Josie abruptly replies, "Why would I need Windows?!"

Ernest grins with sweet satisfaction.

TimerCloud.com
My first solo web project, TimerCloud.com, is a simple yet useful, drum roll please... timer!

The idea is very simple. Essentially, TimerCloud will remind you of a specified future event or occasion upon completion of a countdown specified by you, the user.

At the moment, your TimerCloud session will be lost if you close your browser window. Don't worry, I plan to remedy this by means of a session cookie very soon.

Anyway, for now, please enjoy TimerCloud and, by all means, let me know what you think. Thanks.

"Session cookie or cookie session...because I would go for the cookie session. Maybe some fresh baked chocolate chip or maybe brownies instead of cookies. ;-)"
Hiking
Dad, Robert and I decided to spend some time together with a nice hike from Chantry Flat to Sturtevant Falls then through most of the trail to First Water. For this initial outing, I think we covered about 5 miles worth of hiking. We enjoyed it so much that we all agreed to continue our outings together on a monthly basis.

"Green Eggs and Ham"
Michelle's favorite book at the moment is "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss... so, of course, we decided to make some!
