On his 1/2 birthday (6 months), Aidan attended his friend Audrey's first birthday party and, while there, sat-up without support for the first time.

Michelle had a blast hanging out with her old buddy Jacob, Audrey's brother.

My department treated us to an afternoon Dodger game complete with personalized jerseys.

And yes, she loves it.

With a great deal of enthusiasm, Michelle attended the annual swim course put on by the City of La Verne Aquatic Center.

Josie had nothing but great things to say about the two-week course. She was especially impressed by the friendly, enthusiastic instructors and their thorough teachings of pool safety. The instructors even topped-off the course with several skits exemplifying the dangers and consequences of reckless pool behavior.

As for Michelle? Well, I think she just had a great time making friends and playing in the water. :-)

I realized during the 'Birthday Song' just how many names you attain by age 80.
